This Borderlands Psycho Bone Saw is a custom version of the classic weapon welded by the Psycho enemies in the Boarderlands series.
This Prop was made for accompanying a cosplay favourite of mine. The Buzz Axe, for the Psycho character on the popular game franchise Borderlands, is made out of a layered combination of MDF for the axe head and blade.
The handle is made from a hardwood carved to suit my hand grip.
A bike brake was fitted for aesthetics, along with a section of cable leading to the saw blade for the desired effect. This was later sprayed black, dry brushed with gun metal silver, then a mixture of orange and red acrylics to mimic rust.
I does look very rusted so I hope you’ve had your tetanus jab!
